What does GAPP do?
Local area networks like GAPP are made up of,and run by, local people. Alongside community groups and voluntary organisations (such as faith institutions, tenants residents associations, older people's groups, and so on) they come together to help plan and decide the future of their area.
GAPP's aim is to:
- Raise awareness of issues and identify projects to enhance the GAPP area
- Support the development of local voluntary/community groups and organisations
- Create social opportunities within the community
- Share and celebrate the diversity of different cultures and faith groups
