FAQ's about P2E
What is the P2e project? What support will I receive? Will it cost me anything? No. The support we provide is free. As demand is high for the project, all we ask from you is to commit to the project for a minimum of 15hrs support. Who funds the P2e project? I am an organisation that works with individuals who would benefit from your project, what can I do? We are always looking to work in partnership with a range of public, private and voluntary sector organisations to support individuals. The project provides advice, guidance and support to individuals interested in exploring self employment, developing their business idea or who want to improve their employability skills. Support is provided through a team of Enterprise Coaches who work across the Black Country. If you sign up the project, you will receive a minimum of 15hrs support.
Our programme of support is designed to help you improve your personal skills to progress your business idea and increase your understanding and knowledge of what is required when developing or starting up a business. Through a combination of 1-2-1 support and group working a number of topics are covered aimed at improving self esteem, confidence, negotiation skills, persuasion skills, presentational skills and to help you undertsand market research, marketing, using social media and how to develop your business plan. We also can help you improve you employablity skills, help with CV and interview techniques and help you access further training or qualifications. 1-2-1 support and group workshops are offered in a number of accessible venues and locations across the Black Country.
Am I eligible to receive support from the P2e project?
If you are over the age of 16 and live in Wolverhampton, Sandwell, Walsall and Dudley you are eligible. You can be unemployed, in further education, working or at threat of redundancy, we are happy to help you.
Unfortunately, due to funding conditions we can't provide support to anyone outside the above areas. However, if you want to contact us we may be able to signpost to local support.
The P2e project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Network Consortium, Wolverhampton City Council, Sandwell Council, and VIEW funding
How do I make an appointment to see an Enterprise Coach?

What happens after I have received support from the P2e project?
We can help you access further business start up guidance from Business Link, signpost you to another relevant organisation to receive further support, or help find you a training/education course to continue your journey or you might be ready to start your business!
Will the P2e project give me funding to set up my business or obtain a qualification?
Unfortunately, the P2e project does not provide funding. However, we can help you indentify available and appropriate funding as part of our support.
