ESF Applying to Succeed Conference ** Friday 11 June 2010 **

Applying to Succeed; European Social Fund Conference

Friday 11th June 2010

@The Public, New Street, West Bromwich B70 7PG

As part of our ongoing programme to promote ESF activity this is the third event to be held in the sub region. The European Social Fund (ESF) makes many exciting and innovative projects possible - but it can be a maze trying to find your way through the application process!

This conference is FREE and will help organisations by offering a step-by-step guide to the applications and routes to funding, including eligibility requirements, deadlines and success criteria to maximise your chance of winning funding.

Does your organisation have experience of managing an ESF-funded project or planning to do so? Are you interested in developing services in the following areas?

  • Extending employment opportunities;
  • Developing a skilled and adaptable workforce;
  • Supporting young people not in education, employment or training (NEET);
  • The long term unemployed;
  • Adult skills 19+;
  • Supporting people into local labour markets

If so, this conference is designed to help you!

It will be an excellent opportunity to facilitate discussions between Black Country boroughs to explore consortium development for ESF tenders.  You will also benefit from a practical-oriented approach aimed at increasing your understanding of ESF and how it works.

An agenda for the day is attached.
