WNC Launch S.S. Enterprise II!!

NEW WORKSHOPS to broaden your voluntary or community group's income base and take advantage of the developing ‘Big Society' initiatives!

As part of our Enterprising Communities programme and in line with the government's agenda for our sector and the ‘Big Society', WNC is pleased to announce the launch of SS Enterprise II and our new set of workshops which will focus specifically on different ways in which voluntary and community groups can diversify their income base, be able to take advantage of ‘Big Society' opportunities and become more sustainable.

All workshops are FREE and are being held at Wolverhampton Science Park, Glaisher Drive, Wolverhampton, WV10 9RU from 9.30a.m -12.30pm, followed by lunch!

• Workshop 1 Social Enterprise - what is it, why and developing a social enterprise organisation - 30 October 2010
• Workshop 2 Structure and Governance - choosing and setting up the best legal structure for your organization and key governance issues to help ensure that your social enterpriseis well run - 6 November 2010
• Workshop 3 Knowing your market and selling your product/service - including full cost recovery and sustainable pricing strategy - 20 November 2010
• Workshop 4 Managing your money - 4 December 2010
• Workshop 5 Social auditing - January 2010, TBC
• Workshop 6 The commissioning and procurement process and opportunities for the Third Sector in Wolverhampton - January 2010, TBC
• Workshop 7 Community Assets Transfer and opportunities for the Third Sector in Wolverhampton - February 2010, TBC
